Updated: Aug 29, 2022

This is a message from the State Water Resources Control Board.

The Division of Drinking Water (DDW) requested for Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELAP) to offer accreditation for DWRL-123TCP in drinking water. This new method was developed by the California Department of Public Health Drinking Water and Radiation Laboratory in 2021. The method (attached) will be hosted on DDW’s 123-trichloropropane webpage soon. The following FOA was added to Table 104.

Laboratories interested in adding this analysis must submit an amendment application, including all relevant regulatory requirements including but not limited to: a successful on-site assessment application and a passing Proficiency Testing study. NOTE: for 123-TCP analysis, a low-level study is required.
