California ELAP Updates FOA Tables

Writer's picture: CSEACSEA

This is a message from the State Water Resources Control Board.

The Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELAP) updated various field of accreditation (FOA) tables to correct issues and errors identified by the laboratory community. Corrections made to Tables 105, 116, 117, and 133 fix issues with import into ELAP’s database. In addition, some laboratories identified errors with the Microplastics methods recently offered in FOA table 102. No new analytical methods or analytes have been added to any of the FOA tables during this update, nor will any of the changes affect any laboratory’s current accreditation.

To view the changes to the FOA Tables, visit ELAP's Application or ELAP Forms webpage. Laboratories are encouraged to stay informed by regularly visiting the ELAP webpage for the latest announcements and to ensure that the current version of the FOA Tables are used when submitting an application.
