Today the State Water Board posted the proposed definition of ‘Microplastics in Drinking Water’ for public review and comment. Written comments must be received by 12:00 noon on Friday, April 24, 2020. Additionally, a State Water Board Workshop on the definition of ‘Microplastics in Drinking Water’ will be held on April 8, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. via webcast (https://video.calepa.ca.gov/). A resolution to adopt the proposed definition will be considered at the Board Meeting on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. at the California Environmental Protection Agency Headquarters Building Coastal Hearing Room – Second Floor and via webcast (https://video.calepa.ca.gov/).
