How Does the Regional Stay at Home Order Impact Environmental Laboratories?
If your laboratory is located within a region that has a Stay at Home Order your laboratory should stay open and your workforce is essential.
California has made available essential worker documentation for travel during the Regional Stay at Home Orders. Background Information
On December 3, 2020, The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) issued Regional Stay at Home Orders because of the rise in the rate of increase in COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations, and test positivity rates across California. The Acting State Public Health Officer of the State of California has ordered CDPH evaluate public health based on Regions, responsive to hospital capacity for persons resident in those Regions. Regional Stay at Home Orders require individuals living in the region stay home or at their place of residence except as necessary to conduct activities associated with the operation, maintenance, or usage of critical infrastructure.
